Falling, Falling
Children with God on their breath;
Lay your sleeping head down to rest.
Calling, Calling
Intervention from The Most High.
Shed tears for me and for many.
Roots deeply engrained
So here falls the rain,
God still bleeds for us:
Should I bleed for him?
Hell on Earth:
From East to West,
Orphans glean the lost train;
From paradise lost,
Man divorced self from God.
Dark, Black, and Blind:
Small hopes feed
Impious feet of starved men;
Mercy, have upon them;
As they search for the tomb,
Here is bread and wine.
Stuck in indelible impressions:
Oppression,
Recession,
and Depression.
Self murdered hearts:
Leap up to my God,
Who pulls me down?
